Scholar’s Note

Decentraland is debated among scholars. The virtual land ownership concept is relatively novel in Islamic jurisprudence. More significantly, the platform hosts virtual casinos and gambling applications. While owning MANA itself may not be haram, exposure to gambling infrastructure raises concerns.
