Is Sui (SUI) halal?
Sui is a Layer 1 launched in May 2023 by Mysten Labs (also ex-Diem engineers). Like Aptos, it uses the Move language but with different architectural choices (object-centric data model, parallel execution). SUI supports proof-of-stake.

Gate-by-gate analysis
Riba (interest)
PassSpot SUI has no embedded interest. Native staking not used by bot.
Gharar (uncertainty)
PassAsset specifications, supply schedule, and on-chain settlement are publicly verifiable. Spot ownership transfers cleanly with no embedded contingent payoffs.
Maysir (gambling)
PassSpot purchase is direct ownership of a defined asset, not a wager. Our bot never places leverage, futures, perpetuals, options, or margin trades — eliminating the maysir vector at execution.
Haram-sector exposure
PassSUI protocol revenue is fees. Base asset platform-neutral.
Liquidity
PassSUI clears all tier gates.
Final verdict
Per AAOIFI-aligned framework, spot SUI passes our gates.
